Cisco is pleased to announce the General Deployment release of AsyncOS 8.3.6 for the Security Management Appliance (SMA). This release applies to all qualified SMAs.
The following upgrade paths are qualified for AsyncOS 8.3.6-039:
AsyncOS 8.1.1-013 > AsyncOS 8.3.6-039
AsyncOS 8.1.1-033 > AsyncOS 8.3.6-039
AsyncOS 8.3.6-028 > AsyncOS 8.3.6-039
AsyncOS 8.3.6-035 > AsyncOS 8.3.6-039
If you are running a lower revision of AsyncOS (7.2, 7.7, 7.8, 7.9, and 8.0) you will need to upgrade to 8.1.1-013 first.

General Deployment (GD)
A Cisco software release that provides new features and new platform support in addition to bug fixes which is ready for deployment anywhere in customer networks where the features and functionality of the release are required. This was formerly called General Availability (GA).
