The Ease of Doing Business Phase 3 Release of the New Software Licensing Registration Portal goes live Sunday, June 29, 2014.

Ease of Doing Business Phase 3 (EoDB3) is a program focused on simplifying licensing.  These enhancements bring us closer to supporting Smart Accounts. In the June release, customers and partners will find:

  • The first step to a new capability, managing  PAKs, Devices, and License Transactions at the organization level.  Smart Accounts will offer users access to all license data in their company rather than only licenses registered under their CCO user ID (currently under the Beta program for select customers).
  • A new, simplified look and feel of the user interface to maximize efficiency and improved speed and performance.
  • More intuitive navigation to the most commonly used features in one centralized location.

Who do Partners contact when we have issues using the new product license portal?  I've had limited success with pulling release keys for software upgrades, existing option keys and RMA license transfers for Telepresence equipment.

Donna,

Thanks. I did open a ticket and had the Licensing team provide the necessary release keys, but is there a contact I can reach out to at Cisco to work on the problem I'm having with the Portal?  I don't want to open a ticket with the Licensing team every time I need a release key, option key or RMA license.

Mike

Hi MIke - I am going to look into this and get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for your patience!

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately, there isn't a designated contact. The GLO agents are in fact the support team specifically for the licensing portal. Another option is to contact your Account Manager.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope this helps.
