It was really nice talking to Satish Chandran today who is the Community Manager from Cisco Support Community team!
In this tech-talk, we discussed various aspects of Borderless Network, which is on everyone’s mind these days and various challenges involved in it. We touch based various aspects of sophistication of network threats and discussed about how we can control our network to be exposed to the outside world. We talked about how Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) ensures how the Security of our Networks can be secured.
As the technology evolves, the evolution of threats to the network security is inevitable . The Concept of Borderless network facilitates users to connect and access their resources at anytime from anywhere with any device which is a bliss to the users. But Will the concept of Borderless Network be of any relevance if it was not secure and the data which users are accessing through Network can be hacked / tampered or retrieved ???
Definitely NOT !!!
Cisco Identity Services Engine is a consolidated Policy Solution which makes the access to the Borderless Network Secured and ensures that all the admissions and activities to the Network are Authenticated, Authorized, Posture Validated, Profiled and Logged.
With this all-in-one enterprise policy control platform, you can reliably enforce compliance, enhance infrastructure security, and simplify service operations.
Which makes the job of an administrator lot more easier to keep a check on all the activities on the Network.
To know more about how to configure ISE for your network and its different features please refer the TechNotes on ISE :
