The Seattle Cisco User Group (SEACUG) brings Cisco-oriented network professionals together to study and discuss advanced technologies and emerging trends in voice, video, and data networking. Our Goal is to ensure that the Seattle Cisco User Group community is the most educated, informed, certified, and successful user group in the country.

SEACUG is a technology based community with an online presence and meets every third Wednesday of the month in person at the Cisco Office in Bellevue, WA.

SEACUG provides a gathering place for Cisco professionals to network with each other and discuss network technologies. We cover all topics related to Cisco from Voice, UCS, Security, Routing and Switching to the latest topics on collaboration. All are welcome to participate in our monthly meetings as well as online. Please join INE's next Seattle Network Experts Meetup will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 5:30pm. Bring your friends and coworkers, have a beer and a snack, and meet other local professionals!

During this month's Meetup, Francois Caen, Network Engineer with Pierce County, will be speaking about Network Management Systems. Francois will present the wide array of open source and commercial NMS used at Pierce County: Cacti, Nagios, Smokeping, Cisco Prime LMS & Infrastructure, Riverbed/Opnet AppResponse Xpert, Netflow Tracker, and others. A presentation of each system will be followed by an informal discussion about alternatives and pros and cons.
