[measuring fixup limits]

Unanswered Question

hi,

i was wondering if there is a limit to the ability on a pix to handle the fixup of say SIP signalling. for example, all pixes have a maximum expected cleartext throughput that they can handle. if you exceed that, i guess, cisco can't be held responsible if the box can't handle it.

is there a comparable limit for something like calls-per-second that fixup is able to handle when put in front of a SIP proxy? what would be those limits (per platform)?
