Hello,

This can be a software bug.. I think you are hitting the bug CSCdv60102... running on bug toolkit, it gives the following error:

"on a Cat6k with sup1a/pfc running 6.2(2).

When a port is spanned in Tx, we still see on the span destination port

(sniffer),

the traffic for the blocked VLAN (broadcast, unkown unicast, multicast).

the span session thus is showing more frames that what is really sne dover the

span source port"

I guess you can see the latest IOS trains and see if this bug has been rectified...

Hope this helps.. all the best.. rate replies if found useful..
