hi there... i got a cisco 877 and its on a adsl2+ line.. the thing is when i download anything big the cpu of te unit goes to 98% :( is this a hardware problem or bad setup?

The processor isn't typically going to be overrun simply by passing the max level of traffic available by its own ports.
I would suspect something is awry with your config; QoS, ACL, IOS bug, something.......
