Hi ladies & gents,
I am preparing a presentations for a customer and was wondering if there are any good docs that outline the major benefits (features) from upgrading Unity 3.1 to Unity 4.0?
Would appreciated if anyone can shed some light on this.

Hi,
The Release Notes for each major/minor release provide some details on new functionality: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_release_notes_list.html
I hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Is there any comparison table that shows the major diff between the two releases i.e. Unity 3.1 VS Unity 4.0/4.2
I spent the whole day searching thru Partner Central but couldn't find anything yet.
Cheers,
Hunt

Hi Hunt,
I don't think there is an "all in one" type comparison doc available. This would be the major selling point I think (and should spur the customer on!);
Cisco Systems announces the end of life of Cisco Unity Software Version 3.1. The last day to order Cisco Unity 3.1 is October 31, 2003. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until August 1, 2006.
From this doc;

Hope this helps!

I agree with Rob. There is no "selling point" Its not support anymore and you really have no choice but to upgrade. The new features will only be benefits to the customer from what they have now.
The customer is at risk more than anything if Unity goes down when running 3.1.
