How to recover Location server 2710 passwords?

The location server 2710's GRUB menu is not show up during booting.

If you lose or forget the root password for the Location Appliance, you can recover the password with these steps:

Once the GRUB screen comes up, press Esc to enter the boot menu.

Press e to edit.

Navigate to the line that begins with "kernel," and press e.

Press b to begin boot. The boot sequence can commence, and at the end the user is given a shell prompt.

The user can change the root password with the passwd command.

Enter and confirm the new password.

Reboot the machine

But The GRUB screen is not comes up.

Booting is go on without GRUB screen. This is problem.

NO, I've not find passwords recovery way.

Maybe i have to RMA.
