Looking to verify the following:

I currently have a 6509 chassis(non-E). Can I install the high speed fan tray, sup720-3b, and 6748 10/100/1000 line cards, and 220volt 2500 watt power supply?

Hi

Yes you can. We have this setup in our data centre at present. Make sure you end up with the right fan as it is a different part number from the 6509-E chassis.

I think you need to be careful. That configuration can have several problems. If you have a TAC account use the Cisco Power Calculator to see for yourself. If you use the 2500W power supply you will need 2 and they will not be redundant if you fill too many slots up with the WS-X6748 line cards...

Also SFP card draw more power ehn the SFP modules are used. DFC matters as well... You should really check your exact configuration out first... IMHO...
