C-2621 series router problem

Hi

I have router currenting in our live envirnement..

I have observed its clo (time ) not working properly it remian daily 4 hr late then the correct time.

And the other thing i have observed that its CPU process one process named virtual Exec i have observed this process with 3 differnt process ID.

what do you suggest me for this problem

Afzaal,

Have you tried to set the clock on the router?

If yes, then it may be due to the CMOS battery problem.

If you want to have accurate time from the router, i would suggest using NTP.

Thanks for the ans of my Question .. yes i am dealiy setting its time,,, thanks for the suggestion for using NTP we will try it.

regarding my other Question

we chk processes on router by command

#sh proc cpu

it show all processessrunning on router

wher my qustion is I have observed the process "VIRTUAL EXEC" mulitiple time with different process ID e.g. on my router.
