Hi,

Existing Setup :

Client is getting an internet in ethernet output with private ip ( 10.0.2.5/24 through 10.0.2.8/24 with proxy ip being 10.0.2.90 port 80 ) from their parent company, for accessing the internet the client needs to connect the output to switch and assigning the above given ip,proxy and port number to pc.

requirement:

Can we terminate the smae Ethernet output to the router and make it do nating for the client LAN ( 192.168.10.0/24 )? and client should be able to browse internet without assigning any sort of proxy ip and port number in their pc.

Regards

Rama

Dynamic Nating or PAT could be done at the router. The router replaces the sending computer's non-routable IP address with the first available IP address out of the range of unique IP addresses.Refer URL for more info NAT
