Hi,

I`m using IPCC with different applications and I don?t know how to choose a path inside my script depending day of year. I can choose a path depending day of week or hour of the day.

Thanks

Hi,

You have to use java steps in your script in order to get the current date in your script.

Use the datetime functions that you have available in the 'java' steps.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

What we did in our call center for holidays is we created a simple XML file (Holiday.XML) and entered in the holidays for our company. In the scripting we pass the file into a parameter and see if the date is within the file. If so, branch to a different part of the script. If not, then continue on with the current path.

It's ugly, but use the Built-in functions of the IF statement to check for month() and day(). It should be fairly easy to check for julian days as well.

This logic is often moved to an administrative script where a global variable can be set and referenced by subsequent scripts.
