Error in Communicating with DCA Server

Hello,

I've upgraded LMS 2.2 to LMS 2.5. After login as admin, in CS when I'm trying to check "Device and Credentials" -> "Device Management"

I get the error:

"Error in communicating with DCA Server.

DCA Server may be down. Please start the DCA Server and then refresh the page."

I've tried to lunch this daemon from command line:

D:\CSCOpx\bin>pdexec DCRServer

ERROR:Get reply from server failed:

D:\CSCOpx\bin>pdshow DCRServer

Process= DCRServer

State = Waiting to initialize.

Pid = 6920

RC = 0

Signo = 0

Start = 02/05/2007 11:41:32 AM

Stop = Not applicable

Core = Not applicable

Info = Server started by admin request

Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Platform:

Windows 2000 SP4

CS 3.03

Is the LABSERVER10 the current hostname of this machine? Is the SSL port currently 443?

Are there any other processes down in the output of pdshow?

Also, have you tried to recreate the certificate?

--Server > Security > Single-Server Management > Certificate Setup and

choose "Apply". Once this is corrected, DCR should startup without this error.

Remember to restart the daemons.

I've recreated the cert and restarted the daemons, but the error still persist.

In the DCRServer.log I have:

[...]

[ Tue Feb 06 10:08:48 CET 2007 ] Starting DCR Server...

[ Tue Feb 06 10:08:51 CET 2007 ] No restore has happened

In the syslog.log:

Feb 06 10:54:45 127.0.0.1 100: <28> dmgt[4520]: 2005(W):Internal Error: The maximum number of retry attempts (3) to restart application (DCRServer) has been reached. This application will not be restarted. Call your technical support representative for assistance.

Output from the pdshow command (only daemons which are not runing):

Process= UTMajorAcquisition

What errors do you see in the dcr.log? You may need to enable DCR debugging in NMSROOT\lib\classpath\com\cisco\nm\dcr\log4j-dcr.properties (back this file up, then change all instances of FATAL, INFO, and ERROR to DEBUG, then restart dmgtd).

Here is the log:

Is the LABSERVER10 the current hostname of this machine? Is the SSL port currently 443?

I've found out that someone changed hostname after install previous version... I've uninstalled CW LMS and installed again and now is working!
