Documentation/help on how to install Call Manager Express?

Unanswered Question

Hi,

I have a C2610(64D/16F) running 12.3 IOS.

I downloaded Call Manager Express 3.2 .zip file onto my c:\tftp folder on my console machine.

Can you tell me from here how I should be able to install Call Manager Express onto my Cisco router? I found the documentation below but it seems that is related to configuration tasks, not the basic installation of CME. Thanks!

I have this problem too.

I have found that the easiet way to install Call Manager Express is to download the individual .tar files.

cme-gui-x.x.x.tar

cme-basic.x.x.x.tar

Place these files in your tftp folder. Login to the priviledged EXEC mode on the router and type in the following command.

archive tar /xtract tftp:///cme-basic-3.2.x.tar flash:

This command will extract the CME gui & system files on to the routers flash.
