I am about to upgrade my Pix 506 to software version 6.2(4) and would like to back up the current version 6.0(1) before doing so. I've looked around and I've tried to find any documentation on backing this up but have been unsuccessful. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thank you.

OK. I'll update to 6.3. I still need to know how to backup the existing software so that I can restore it if necessary. Thanks.

You cant take backup of the image. However, if you need image, TAC can help you get it given that you have a valid contract for your PIX.
