Hi,
Looking for a cheap solution to encrypt certain traffic over a VPLS WAN. Looking at 5 regional offices so would like at least (things could very well grow) 4 LAN to LAN tunnels for each for a fully meshed set-up.
Is the 831 capable? - have a hard time locating useful info on the Cisco site on this one for some reason.

831 won't be suffficient for this operation.
Kindly refer the url given below which will give a good idea about the VPLS deployment,

Thanks for you answer ... but I think I was a bit too brief in my question. THe VPLS network will be provided, I just need to encrypt certain 'interesting' traffic in order to offer our clients a security gaurantee directly, rather than get a third party's (our carrier's) that we pass onto them. For most of our own traffic we accept the gaurantee given by the carrier.
Nonetheless goalposts are shifting and the 831 has been ruled out for other reasons.
I'm happy to close this post down.
Thanks again,
Mike
