natting to resolve routing issues

Hi all, if I have 2 seperate sites both on a class A 10.x.x.x address, If I nat one one these across on the router to another address range, how would i go about routing between them cause one side would still have a route from a 10 network to another 10 network, is this correct ?

Well if you have 10.0.0.0/24 on on side and 10.0.0.0/24 on the other side. You nat a one to one or a natpool to example 172.0.0.0/24 the you would have a route to 172.0.0.0/24

Hi, I know what you mean, but wont the side which is natted still need a route to the other 10.x.x.x network, I know the source address will be changed but it still needs to go from a 10.x.x.x to a 10.x.x.x one one side, if you understand ?

Well you actually have to setup two networks for that 172.0.0.0/24 is nated to first 10.0.0.0/24

172.1.0.0.0/24 is nated to second 10.0.0.0/24

So two networks to NAT between the 2 overlapping networks.

Yes. That is the only what I know about that works good.
