3750s with 100fx SFP

Anybody had problems getting the 100fx SFP GBICs to work on 3750 switches. Running current IOS ver 12.2(25)SEE2, the switch reports it as an invalid GBIC and puts the port in error-disabled mode.

I've tried 4 GBICs and they all do the same thing in multiple switches.

sure it is a official cisco gbic,if not that may be why it is rejecting it . Must cisco or cisco authorized..

Hi

Can you issue the below command and check reseting the switch ?

service unsupported-transceiver

Found the problem...apparently there are different types of 100fx SFP GBICs and some are not compatible with all Catalyst switches. See URL..
