E1 WIC for Unframed

Hi,

My E1 controller card is not supporting unframed E1 connection.My E1 card details are below mentioned.

E1 0/0 is down.

Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

Description: WAN INTERFACE

Far End Block Errors Detected

Receiver has loss of signal.

alarm-trigger is not set

Version info Firmware: 20040108, FPGA: 11

Framing is CRC4, Line Code is HDB3, Clock Source is Line.

To configure it for unframed try this:

conf t

controller e1 0/0

no framing crc4

hi there,

as my understanding, you are trying to configure E1 as unframed, means for data, correct?

afaik, your e1 card must support g703 for unframed.

what e1 card are you using now?
