3750 rate-limits

Hi!

My 3750 accepts the "rate-limit" command, but does not seem to be rate-limiting...is the rate-limit command supported in the 3750 series

Hi,

are you talking about 3750 router or Catalyst 3750? Which IOS version? Did you check the "unsupported commands" section of the configuration guide?

Usually the suitable command is "police" inside a policy-map.

Have a look at f.e. "Policing and Marking"
