I have 3620 configured as a RAS server. The unit provides Async dial-up to PPP clients.

Will someone please provide the config details to auto-disconnect the PPP sessions when idle for 30 minutes.

A dialup session will disconnect at the end of dialer idle-timeout provided there is no interesting traffic for that specified time transiting over the connection, further the interesting traffic is defined using "dialer-list" command and bound to the asyn interface using "dialer-group" command.

An example:

interface Group-Async x

dialer in-band

dialer idle-timeout 1800 << 30 mins

dialer-group 1

group-range x xx

dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit or anything similar to specify interesting traffic.
