SIP over WAN

Hi,

I have a simple WAN configuration in my lab for a SIP test.

SIP7031 and proxy swWAN -> r1WAN (PPP) -> r2WAN -> R2FA -> LAN -> SIP6011 and proxy on this side too.

When I make a call from 7011 to 6011 it fails. I have a VOIP dial peer configured, and my CCAPI log shows no matching node.

What is my configuration missing? Should I have a special IOS to make this happen? If so, what do you recommend. Right now, I have the enterprise version that supports SIP and H323, and other general router features.

Thanks,

Steve

The Cisco SIP implementation enables supported Cisco platforms to signal the setup of voice and multimedia calls over IP networks.

Like other VoIP protocols, SIP is designed to address the functions of signaling and session management within a packet telephony network. Signaling allows call information to be carried across network boundaries. Session management provides the ability to control the attributes of an end-to-end call.
