I was playing around with the config of a Cisco 1030 from my WLC, and set the mode to "bridge". And hit the Save button. Now the 1030 endlessly reboots itself, and the WLC no longer sees it. Is there a way to reset to factory defaults without the WLC ?

There is no hardware reset on the access point.Only way to reset is through WLC.Try to power off and power on the AP.

You're right. Power cycling had no effect. I was able to wrest control back by entering its MAC address Under Security->MAC Filtering. I had set the 1030 to bridge mode. I've since learned that the 1030 can operate the same as a 1500, with limitations.
