HI,

Can i use a /26 network and assign two subnets of /27 mask from that?

I meant for example from a 10.69.202.192/26, can i take 10.69.202.192/27 and 10.69.292.224/27?

Appreciate your response.

Regards

Navneet

I think you made a typo...10.69.292.224/27....it should be 10.69.202.224/27.

Yes you can do that...

10.69.202.192/26 has the following true...

10.69.202.192 is the netowrk address

10.69.202.255 is the broadcast address

10.69.202.192/27 has the following true...

10.69.202.192 is the netowrk address

10.69.202.223 is the broadcast address

10.69.202.224/27 has the following true...

10.69.202.224 is the netowrk address

10.69.202.255 is the broadcast address

No overlap and they fit in 10.69.202.192/26

Hope that helps. Rate if it does.

Mike
