7941G and 7691G Background.

Hello all. I'm struggling to get the above working. I am successfully using backgrounds on my 7911Gs, but using the same method on the 7941Gs and 7961Gs doesn't work.

My list.xml file for the 7941Gs and 7961s is:

<CiscoIPPhoneImageList>

<ImageItem Image="TFTP:Desktops\320x196x4\TN-MyTest.png"

URL="TFTP:Desktops\320x196x4\MyTest.png"/>

</CiscoIPPhoneImageList>

Obviously, I have put the two .png files in the folder located at: C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath\Desktops\320x196x4

The phones display 'File not found' - any ideas? Incidentally, the 7911Gs which do work have the list.xml set as:

<CiscoIPPhoneImageList>

<ImageItem Image="TFTP:Desktops\95x34x1\TN-Test.png"

URL="TFTP:Desktops\95x34x1\Test.png" />

</CiscoIPPhoneImageList>

This file, along with the .png files are located at: C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath\Desktops\95x34x1

Am I right in saying that there is a separate list.xml for each of the above examples?

I have looked at the Customizing Phones pdf but I think everything is right. Any other ideas guys?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Darren,

The list.xml example in the 7941g/7961g guide looks slightly different than yours (check the / vs \ )?

List.xml Example

FTP:Desktops/320x196x4/TN-Fountain.png"

URL="TFTP:Desktops/320x196x4/Fountain.png"/>

FTP:Desktops/320x196x4/TN-FullMoon.png"

URL="TFTP:Desktops/320x196x4/FullMoon.png"/>

Remember to restart the Cisco TFTP service after placing new files and make sure that all the servers has the .xml and the .png images.
