I am new to the forum.

BTW, my cisco AS5350 appear this message on the log and most of the calls drop hv failed. Once i restart the AS5350 for the 1st time, the problem still exist. After 2nd time reboot, the problem solve and all the channels are fully utilize. I m very doubtful. What i find from the web,

'The remote equipment cannot provide the requested channel for an unknown reason. This might be a temporary problem.'

I don't get any ideas from the above statement. Anyone mind to let me know the detail meaning of - no requested circuit. (44) ?

You need to check and monitor ISDN, and which circumstances a channel is not available.

Thanks for your reply. Anyway, reason of the system is busy and rush, which cause the cisco AS5350 auto-reboot.

After AS5350 auto-reboot, maximum channels can be used approximate 13-15 from 60 channels available. Error show,

System returned to ROM by unknown reload cause - reason ptr 0xBFC257F8, PC 0x604C8108, address 0x0

When i choose to reboot by myself, then all the channels back to normal and fully utilized.

Is that possible, AS5350 too busy & rush, which will cause this problem arise ? It's just personal thinking. Hope to get advise from yours.

Woo,

The 5350 is crashing, that should never happen, no matter how much busy it is.

You need to upgrade to the latest maintenance of your choosen IOS release. eg, if you use 12.4, install 12.4(12).

Hopefully this will solve both crash and the channel allocation issue.

Did the cisco resource match my case ?

Which ISO are you running ?

You ran into ISDN dta structure trashing that lead to crashing.

As I said the best course of action is to upgrade to latest maintenance even before start looking for a specifig bug.

I would also check the memory usage and allocation and get more memory too
