VPN drop with Broadband Kyocera Data Card

I have a VPN 3000 concentrator and have 6 people that connect using the Kyocera broadband PC Card. All users are running Windows XP with Service Pak 2 and are using the Cisco VPN client v4.0.5 with IPSec over TCP, Encryption is 3DES-168. All users are complaining about the VPN connection dropping after 5-15 minutes. Web browsing will also drop after the same time period. When the users are connected to the internet using their Kyocera card they have no problem with internet or ?outlook RPC over HTTP.? When connecting to the VPN is when we have our drop issue.

This is probably due to a compatibility issue. Try the following command will add a rule in the Microsoft firewall to allow UDP 62515.

netsh fi add port UDP 62515 "Cisco VPN Service" enable all

We have our fiewall disabled on the laptops.

Thanks for the reply
