CUOM not authorized screenID: "/IPCDiscoveryConfig ???

Does anyone know what this error message means? I get it in Cisco Unified Operations Manager 2.0 every time I try to click the configure button in under Devices and Device Managment.

Error message:

You are not authorized to request the Action associated with screenID: "/IPCDiscoveryConfig".

Is your CUOM server integrated with ACS? If so, then you most likely have not granted access to the tasks found on this page to your current user. If so, then this most likely indicates a bad installation, and you are missing some vital entries in NMSROOT\MDC\etc\regdaemon.xml.

The best solution for the latter problem is to uninstall, then reinstall CUOM after setting your TEMP and TMP environment variables to something short like C:\TEMP.
