Hi,

I have a problem where my voice BRI line goes down at random intervals (but infrequently).

A shut / noshut solves the problem.

Is there any way I can have the router notify me of such errors (through e-mail) ?

I dont have any SNMP or syslog server setup, so,

if I do need to set one up, what would be easier solution ??

Alternatively, can I run a tcl script using kron to monitor the isdn status and reset the bri ports on error ?
