Hello,
Inbound calls occasionally are getting the first half second dropped when dialing into an IVR. Instead of "Welcome to Bloggs & Son" they may get "come to Bloggs & Son". I've noticed this when I've rebooted the system and I'm assuming that it occurs the first time the wav file is requested from the CVP Media server. Is there any reason why this may re-occour?
(CVP 3.1 with VXML Gateway)
Many thanks,
Michael

Are you caching on the VG?
If the prompt is not called in sufficient time it will disapear from the cache.

Hello,
I'm caching on the vxml gw.
Maximum memory pool allowed for HTTP Client caching = 15000 K-bytes
Maximum file size allowed for caching = 500 K-bytes
Ref FreshTime Age Size context

I'm trying to understand does the 'http client cache refresh' delete the file in cache when the timer expires and only does an http get the file when it's next requested by CVP?
or does the refresh timer mean that the VXML does a check to make sure the new wav file is the same. If the 2 files are the same keep existing file in cache and don't upload from Media server?
Regards, Michael
