CME 4.0 and 12.4(11)T or 12.4(11)T1

- Has anyone notices that after you install

and reboot to 12.4(11)T or 12.4(11)T1 that

trying to use archive tar /xtract to get the

CME 4.0 files onto the router flash no longer

works successfully? I keep getting an error

to the effect that my tar file is a directory

according to the error text. Backing down

to 12.4(9)Tx does not exhibit this. Or is

there a new change on how to load CME tar

files starting in 12.4(11)x? Thanks.

Which router is your? That may be related to the fact directories are not supported on some platforms. Also, I find absolutely unnecessary to load all the files and built my own archive with the necessary files only.

there is a bug in 12.4.11(t). if you use the bug tool kit the number is CSCek63178. just got of with tacacs

What a strange bug, and severity just 4 ???

However I'm 99% positive I've been extracting tarfiles with 12.4(11)T.
