Hello
i have 2 nodes that i want to connect through E1, whats the best way to do the setup for the network?
router+E1 interface -> router+E1 interface ?
any ideas suggestions?
also, any idea how can i use fiber optics to connect these 2 nodes?

Hi Baha
If you want to have them connected through Fiber Optic Cable then you need to have multiplexers on both the ends which can provide you G.703 which you can convert into V.35.
The same you can connect onto your router which has E1 interface as per your post..
If you have G.703 cards installed on both the sides then you can directly plug in the output from the mux to the router..

By 2 nodes, do you mean 2 different locations? like so:
LAN<->router1<->E1<---------->E1<->router2<->LAN
And since you are entertaining the idea of a fiber link between them, does that mean they are not that far apart?
