Integrating Siemens HiPath IP telephony & Cisco QoS

Unanswered Question

My customer is implementing Siemens HiPath IP telephony and want to pass calls over their cisco network. Cisco QoS is to be deployed, and it is desired to do call admission control over the WAN, ideally with reservation.

Is it possible to integrate call setup between the Siemens phones with RSVP running on the Cisco network, so that calls are rejected if bandwidth cannot be reserved for the call ?

I have this problem too.

Yes, if so configured Cisco QoS will reject reservation due to bandwidth constrains and call will fail.
