I'm trying to use RME compliance check but it doesn't seem to work correctly.
If I define a template like this
Name: Global SubMode: Yes isPrerequisite: No
Ordered : No Prerequisite-Commandset : none Parent: none
IP SLA 6
+ frequency 500
All my devices are always compliant even when it is not the case.
If I change frequency 500 with 600 for example, they are still all compliant.
It is like this template doesn't do anything.
It does work if I test on sub interface like Fe0 for example.
How can I test compliance for sub-commands other than interfaces?
Thanks

This is probably because you don't have the "ip sla 6" operation configured. You could try doing this using two commandlets:
Name: SLA6 SubMode: No isPrerequisite: No
Ordered : No Prerequisite-Commandset : none Parent: none
+ ip sla 6
Name: SLA6Freq SubMode: Yes isPrerequisite: No
Ordered : No Prerequisite-Commandset : none Parent: none
ip sla 6
+ frequency 500

Unfortunately this doesn't work either.
It does detect the ones missing the IP SLA 6 command but frequency is still being missed.
I've tried many different ways but the routers always come back as compliant.
I've also tried sub-mode test with "crypto ipsec client ezvpn" and the same thing happens.

I've just tried the example RME template called "TemplateExample2"
Name: parent SubMode: Yes isPrerequisite: No
Ordered : No Prerequisite-Commandset : none Parent: none
policy-map V3PN-teleworker
# No commands
Name: child SubMode: Yes isPrerequisite: No
Ordered : No Prerequisite-Commandset : none Parent: parent
class VOICE
+ priority 64
I configured the router with "priority 62"
then ran the compliance test.
And the router config came back as compliant again.

TAC has been able to reproduce the problem and new DDTS has been filed ( CSCsh87911 )
Fix should be in LMS 3.0 scheduled to be released in May.

Hi
Is yr news confirmed that LMS 3.0 is schedule to released in May?
I wish LMS can be more stable not memory intensive.
I also wish that DFM module can act intelligently like other products such as HP OV NNM, CA eHealth when tackle the fault and events.
All Hail..King Of The Network!! :D
Cheers!

That's what the TAC engineer said.
Now that's no confirmation at all.
I have no idea where she got the info from.
For me , it just confirm that they are going to release LMS 3.0 sometime this year.
And I still expect it to be a big pile of non-working crap with just few useful features.
