wlan design, Hi all, if I had to implement a WLAN in a warehouse say for 200 devices, would I put this in a different vlan than the users, what would be a good design for this ?
I put up 11 of the 1242 APs in our warehouse, and have a management VLAN for the APs. Then I have another VLAN for the forklift wireless devices. That subnet is locked down since I don't want forklift drivers surfing the web. Then I put my standard user SSID/VLAN with EAP authentication for anyone venturing out in the warehouse with a laptop. That SSID works throughout our plant and in a couple of places like our corporate HQ. It works great like that.
are these vlans set on the wlan controller or switches ?
