Can anyone give me a hand pls? here is the situation:

- LMS 2.5.1 on Win 2003 Server R2

- License file sent from CISCO was put in the LMSLicense directory and successfully located during RME Installation.

when I try to open licensing;

common services>server>admin>licensing

I get this error message:

"Error communicating with license server. License server may be down. Please start the License server, then refresh the page"

last year I have installed LMS 2.5 on win2000 server and havent got such error message.

Check the process state of LicenseServer in the output of pdshow. Also, check the license.log and LicenseServer.log for errors. Note: you will need to upgrade to LMS 2.6 to get Windows 2003 R2 support.

tx for replying

i will follow your advices and let you know.

I have purchased LMS 2.6 and will upgrade. do tou think that license error is related with LMS version?

These errors are probably not related, but if you want TAC support for LMS, you will need to move to 2.6 first.
