I have an MDS 9140 to which several hosts are connected via QLogic2340 HBA's. An HBA went bad and was replaced. I have static (port based) VSAN's and I added the new WWN to the correct zone. As far as I can see from the switch everything seems OK with one exception; when I do a "show zone active" my new WWN does not list. The old one does but without an asterick. The new WWN shows up as part of the VSAN, when I do a show run or "show zone xx" the WWN appears and it is also in the list when I do a "show flogi database". I changed the device-alias to list the new WWN and even suspended and restarted the VSAN but no joy. Basically to my novice eyes everything seems OK but the host cannot see any of the devices in it's zone.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.
