Hi all
Can someone please tell me and confirm what cabling methods are used between certain devices regarding how the CCNA exam ask you, i.e switch to switch you would use a crossover. What are all the different setups?, switch-router, router-PC, switch-PC, etc
Also is there any difference using the console port on devices in what cabling you would use, is this a rollover cable!!!!
Thanks to all that respond

When to use crossover and straight cable:
DTE <-> DTE = Crossover
DCE <-> DCE = Crossover
DTE <-> DCE = Straight
Use a crossover cable to LIKE devices and use a straight cable to UNLIKE devices.
Console cable are the same for all devices, the only difference is their connector. There are 9 pin and there are 25 pin.
