Internet Dial-Up problems

I am the senior administrator for a local ISP, and we just started having a problem with some users, dialing up with a local access number, and when they get their phone bill it shows a number that belongs to us but is not what they dialed, and getting long distance fees applied. It has got to be something in our access server, router or gateway, on how this is getting routed wrong. The configs have not been changed in orver 1 1/2 years, and suddenly started. Anyone out there, have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't be so sure that something is wrong with the access server. As far as I know there is no user equipment configuration that can change the way in which telco bills calls.

Instead, if users dial a number that belongs to you, but then telco billing systems get your numbers and related charges mixed up (perhaps they have some commonalities like client ID or routing), here you are you are with the problem described. I'm afraid that it can be painful to prove, so good luck.
