no mib snmpv2 in c3845-ipvoicek9-mz.124-12.bin ?

Hi,

Sorry if my question seem trivial to most of you, but i want a cisco 3845 router to send the coldstart, warmstart, linkup, linkdown traps to a network management server. I found that those traps were in the SNMPV2 MIB using snmp object locator. However when i check with MIB locator which MIBs are included in c3845-ipvoicek9-mz.124-12.bin (the image i will be using), SNMPv2 does not appear.

Does this mean i can not use those traps ? Or are they included somewhere else ?

Thanks for your help.

Nicolas.

I just checking on my 3845 running the same code and these traps are supported in this code

Here's how you would enable them:

snmp-server enable traps snmp ?

authentication Enable authentication trap

coldstart Enable coldStart trap

linkdown Enable linkDown trap

linkup Enable linkUp trap

warmstart Enable warmStart trap

ok thanks a lot !

i am just wondering though why this mib does not show up in the cisco mib locator with image=c3845-ipvoicek9-mz.124-12.bin (???).

is there another way to be sure that snmpv2 mib is supported inthis image beside the mib locator ?

thanks again for your help.

N.
