Hi,
What is it? what does it do? Can it cause degradation service due to high traffic load on a line?
A client has a 128k diginet which has been maxed the last few days. when i investigated, the ISP had enabled IP PAT. Can this saturate the line?

well, in some cases it can cause degrdation depends upon router capacity and no of clients and no of ip address u have.
