Hi,
To my current understanding, os2000.4.4 and 2003.1.1 doesn't support more then 4GB of ram. I've got a DL380-G5 server, with 6GB of ram, of which, I wish to install CCM4.X, unity(vmware) and ipccx(vmware). Can anyone advise how do I go about fully utilizing the 6GB of RAM?
Thanks

You can try using Win 2003 on the server which should support 6 gb of ram.

but win2003 using the registry hacks? os2003.1.1 is only using "2003 standard server" not enterprise version. Win2003 standard version only supports 4GB of ram. Or am I missing out something?
Thanks

You need Windows 2003 Enterprise.
For 2000, you need Data center to support more than 4GB of ram.

Question is, how do I install win2k3 enterprise or any ms os which supports more than 4 GB of ram using cisco Os? Or in other words, which Cisco OS for DL380-G5 supports more then 4GB of ram?
Thanks

Or you can try with SuSE.
