I get the following message after backup has completed.

A backup or restore process is in progress.

Please try again after some time.

If the BARS server was rebooted while it was in the middle of a backup or restore process, please click the 'Reset Status' button now.

Do you have any idea why BARS will not reset its status after a successful backup. I have to manually reset it otherwise the backup for the following day will fail

I have this problem too.

Try : Invoke the BARS admin browser from another machine and perform the restore operation.
