setting up a e164 number

I have a 6 port E1 CMM Voice gateway module in a 6509 & use Call manager.

Have set up CCM ok to make outbound calls etc & all is working.

I now need to set up some E164 numbers so customers can call inbound. Got my numbers from my SP, how do I set this number up within the Voice Gateway & Call manager. Have tried dial peers & configured the CCM with the e164 number etc but all to no avail.

Think I am missing something fundamental here!!!

What is the Gateway configured as on the CallManager ?? If it is MGCP then it would work fine without any changes, provided you have a DN to match on the CM or discarding digits when the call is sent to the CM. But if it is a H.323 Gateway, you would need to route this call the CM for it to make the routing decission.
