Just wondering what solutions others have used to send or display information on their IP phones. We have 7912s which we use a background image rather effectively, but our 7940s and 7960s have us at a loss. While the idle URL is effective, it does change the behaviour of the phone in so much as they people now have to 'exit' the screen saver. As well, the softkeys are hidden. It also breaks abbreviated dials.
What other ways are there out there to communicate this sort of information to phones. What have others done? I'm using a simple XML file for my idle URL, are there more elaborate solutions which work better?
