For one of our clients, they had to upgrade due to an upgrade to Call Mgr 5.x.
Due to the difference in databases "since we had an older release (e.g. 3.5.x or 4.0.x), there's no upgrade path to 4.5.x. And there's no way to export the data from older version and put it back in 4.5.x."
That was from TAC. Our local channel support engineer pointed us to this article http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_tech_note09186a00804a5ddf.shtml for pushing the data out to a separate SQL server, but I'm not sure they have any sort of data warehouse.
Has anyone else run into a method for getting the historical data onto the 4.5 server in a usable fashion, or will they have to leave the older server running and pull that information from there if they do not have a separate data store?
