Which specific problem to troubleshoot?
My favorite and always use for many years in order.
1. Traceroute and packet drops
2. Reverse traceroute, BGP looking glass, etc..
3. DNS
4. WHOIS
5. Subnetting, password cracking,

7. Sniffing

I wanted some software that i can say compare network delay, to say an application delay on a server ? what would be good for this ?
