SSH client was introduced in some IOS platforms and images starting in Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1.3.T.

SSH terminal-line access (also known as reverse-Telnet) was introduced in some IOS platforms and images starting in Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2.2.T.

When you are looking at the images look for a k9 this is keyword for any ios supporting ssh on router or switch.

Do rate if this soln helps :)

In addition to the consideration of which versions introduced support for which implementations of SSH, be aware that there is also a feature set dependency. SSH depends on encryption and the code that you run must support cryptography. Some feature sets do support this (Advanced Security, Advanced Enterprise Services, IP IPSec 3DES) and some do not (IP BASE).

for SSH, IOS must support crypto. Look for k series in IOS file.

Use SSH v2 as far as possible.
