I have a customer whose outside interface occasionally quits responding to
monitoring queries. 3K <--> EzVPN. Has anyone seen this before? EzVPN
clients are running on C831(12.3(7)XR3) and C871(12.3(8)YI2). Thanks

It colud due to keepalives setting mismatch.
Check isakmp keepalives in 3K vpn concentrator.
Check the nat-traversal/ipsec over tcp or udp configuration
